This is a southwestern bypass ring crafted from 925 sterling silver. The ring features two distinct stones, a teardrop and a square, set side-by-side in a bypass style. The stones are White Buffalo Turquoise, a unique mineral with a striking white color and black veining, mined near Tonopah, Nevada. The stones are secured with a classic sawtooth bezel setting, a hallmark of traditional Navajo silverwork.
This is also considered a “floater ring" setting, such as a tension setting, or a design that gives the impression of the stone "floating" above the band, is intended to highlight the gemstone's shape and characteristics. Both stones are securely set. Although the ring measures 6.75 it is very adjustable. It measures, as it shows, .86” wide and the band measures a comfortable 4.1mm. It weighs 5.7gms.
