This particular watermelon tourmaline has a perfect C-axis, which is very hard to find. This is also quite a thick specimen and will survive for a very long time. Watermelon tourmaline is a healing stone and has been used for generations. The center of the C- axis is not extraordinarily pink, but the exterior color is almost like celedon, which is a very particular color of Asian glaze for pottery. If the interior were to be extremely pink, it would look muddy. It is very crisp and clear this way. It is an extremely special specimen and can be incorporated into jewelry or just into a collection or used for chakra healing
