Ceramics designer Irwin Garber co-founded the National Potteries Corporation (Napco) in 1938. In 1960, he founded a new pottery, the International Art Ware Corporation (Inarco), in Cleveland, Ohio, importing Japanese ceramics. Many American homes at the time contained some ceramic figurines or dishware made by Inarco, Lefton, Napco, and several others. Inarco made many pieces of dinnerware but was particularly famous for their head vases. Napco purchased Inarco in 1986.
This Blue Mood serving set includes a ceramic serving tray for fruit, cheese, or other snacks plus matching salt and pepper shakers. Made in Japan during the mid-century modern period, it features a beautiful blue color with a fruit motif. The ceramic tray measures ~11.5” × 6." Excellent pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, or blemishes.
