Vintage Dresden Style Hokutosha Occupied Japan Hand Painted Pink Courting Couple Cup & Saucer
Beautiful porcelain quatrefoil miniature cup and saucer.
Decorated in the Dresden style panels with hand painted courting couples alternating with pink panels with flowers.
The center in a gold small circle is another small flower.
With gold gilt scrollwork in between and around the edge.
Gold gilding to the handles.
Marked on the bottom Hokutosha Made in Occupied Japan. Circa 1945 to 1952.
Great condition.
The cup measures approximately 2 3/8 inches wide including the handle x 1 1/4 inches tall.
The saucer measures approximately 3 1/4 inches wide.
