Vintage Bible: The Holy Bible Containing the Old and New Testaments, Cambridge

Undated but estimated to be from the 1950's

This beautiful King James Version (KJV) Bible was printed by Cambridge University Press in the mid-20th century in their deluxe Cameo 16mo format. It features India paper, red-letter text, a concordance and gazetteer, and a premium full Morocco leather cover with leather lining. The silver page edges are especially uncommon and give this compact edition an elegant, refined finish. A finely crafted and highly collectible example of Cambridge’s renowned Bible production.

Overall good condition for its age:

• Cover: minor wear, bottom edge is curled. Ink mark on bottom edge, likely masking prior owner's name
• Spine: chipping at ends
• Pages: nice condition for age
• Edges: lovely and unique silver finish with some marks and wear, fore edge appears wavy
