This WWII era silver plater Reed and Barton sugar bowl was used in the warrant officers mess and is dated 1942.
The various silver-plated serving pieces made for the US Navy from the late 1890's through the 1940's were elegant and literally made for fine dining, even in the warrant officers mess. One can only imagine which Officers, Captains, and Admirals used these pieces, on what dreadnaught or flag ship, and in what conflict during the height of WWII.

Own a very unique piece of WWII memorabilia.
