Cool camera!!! Here's a really nice and clean START camera, made in the USSR. It has a fairly sought after lens a Helios-44 2/58mm lens (8 blades). The camera is in beautiful condition, everything winds and fires as it should. The focus is a little stiff, but I think it just needs to be used. There is some oil on the lens blades, but I think that will only be an issue if you use the auto aperture, accessory not included.

"Start" is one of the first Soviet single-lens reflex cameras (SLR), combining classic design and high build quality. This camera is an excellent choice for collectors and photography enthusiasts. The Start camera was produced by the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant (KMZ) in the USSR.
Lens: KMZ Helios-44 (HELIOS) 58mm f/2 with automatic aperture.
Focusing: Manual, using frosted Fresnel glass.
Shutter: Focal plane (fabric, horizontal) with shutter speeds from 1s to 1/1000s and mode "B".
Aperture: Automatic (with plunger on lens).
