Royal Doulton "The Coachman" Vintage Art Antique Collectible Sculpture Statue

This is an incredible Royal Doulton "The Coachman" vintage sculpture statue figurine. It was first introduced in 1963 and retired in 1971. Item number is HN 2282. It's from Professions collection. It was designed by Mary Nicoll. This magnificent piece is about a Coachman from the 1800's that has black curly hair and is wearing his traditional driving attire from that era. His coat is in dark green, with a burgundy striped shawl and grey under the coat. He has black pants and boots. He also has a black top hat and long beige leather gloves. He has realistic features and amazingly detailed face. He is relaxing sitting and drinking ale from a grey metal jug. It looks as if he finished his workday and is taking a breather. The statue is high glazed and it's 7 1/4" tall. The Royal Doulton is displayed at the bottom with the items number and lot number. This figurine is in mint condition. No chips or cracks. No original box or paperwork. Last known original retail price is $450.00.
