This original piece from the Retro era (1935-1960) is made of glass material and has an oval-shaped main stone with an unknown metal. The pin is 2.5" in length.
Only found a handful of examples online. None with the orange eyes. Very rare piece!
The DeNicola Company was founded by the jewelry designer, Jerry DeNicola, in 1957. The designer produced high quality costume jewelry to rival the real thing. One of the early costume jewelry lines was "The Real Thing." Signed DeNicola jewelry items are hard to find. It is in great vintage condition and has some wear consistent with age.
