Primitive Uncle Sam Doll, Hand Painted Clothing, Rustic Patriotic Americana

I've made this primitive Uncle Sam doll from cotton fabric. He is 23" tall. His torso is rag stuffed (with my fabric scraps) and the rest of his body is stuffed with fiberfill.

Uncle Sam is a very dapper fella, fully dressed in hand-painted clothing! He wears a vest over a faux shirt, trousers, top hat, and the most awesome painted jacket with stenciled stars! The vest is held closed with itty bitty bells. The jacket has stenciled stars on the back too!

Uncle Sam has felted sheep's wool hair, beard, and eyebrows.

I've given Uncle Sam a grungy banner hand stamped with "America."

Uncle Sam's body and clothing has all been grunged / aged with coffee.

There's a hanging loop on the back of Uncle Sam's neck. I prefer him hanging up, but he looks very nice sitting down too. His legs are stuffed about half-way, which means he can sit on the edge of a shelf, if that's how you'd like to display him!
