Pre-owned. This silver-plated cocktail pitcher was designed by Donald H. Colflesh for Gorham in 1959. Tall, cylindrical body with a small pouring spout and a sleek, modern skyscraper-style aesthetic. It features a distinctive, curved black handle made of bakelite in an Art Deco style. It was one, of over 20 different items, that were featured in the Smithsonian Institute's 2006 exhibition "Modernism in American Silver: 20th Century Design" !! It was also featured in their 392 page catalog. It is 11 1/8 inches tall. It has stains / tarnish on out side and inside.
