The Canon ES55 camcorder was a flagship model for the 8mm tape video recorder from the year 2000. And it’s in great physical condition with no noticeable marks or cracks, it’s got the original battery and the ac battery power supply, however the battery doesn’t seem to hold charge. It has been stored away in a soft handicam case with the av cables and the camera lens cap on. There’s a 8mm tape in the transport door. I have ejected it, the battery likely has to be replaced and because it’s canon those batteries are still available CAMERA POWERED UP colors look A+.The viewfinder eye cup is in excellent condition too. If you’re interested in the vintage video experience this would make a good candidate especially since it’s got canon glass lens and zoom x 500 . Canon is known for their quality and reliability, but I think you’ll need to give this some love and attention to restore it to its original condition. Label says manufacturing date November 2000.
