Antique EAPG "Virginia Dare" / "Diana Goddess of the Hunt" Pressed Glass Bread Plate

This is a beautiful piece of Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) in the highly collectible "Virginia Dare" pattern, which is also known to collectors as "Diana Goddess of the Hunt". The clear glass tray features a central depiction of the goddess Diana with cupids and gryphons, surrounded by a decorative border.

Size: 1 1/4" × 7 1/8" × 11 1/8"

Antique, excellent condition for its age (please see photos for details).

The exact manufacturer of this pattern is often debated and attributed to two major EAPG companies:

Possibly by Riverside Glass Works (Wellsburg, WV, 1879 - 1899)

Possibly by Dithridge & Co. (Pittsburgh, PA, 1860 - 1903)

This specific pattern is part of major museum collections, including:

Corning Museum of Glass Collection (Accession Number 89.4.78, dated 1890-1910).

Iowa State University, Brunnier Art Museum (dated 1880-1889).
